Jackson Dodds Cafe is your easy-vibe Preston brunch spot. Across from the local Maternal Health Centre, this cafe is often a mother’s group coffee hub.

With a delicious menu, it is sure to please almost anyone. Choose between their simple sandwiches, burgers and hotcakes. Or, if you love breakfast, try some of their delicious options, or if you are like Mamma, opt for scrambled eggs. These come with all the added extras like whipped fetta, fried shallots and pesto. Yum! There is also a kid’s menu which includes some simple favourites, or try one of their bright and colourful house-made macaroons.

The cafe offers indoor and outdoor seating, and they have a stack of highchairs. The staff are accommodating for bigger groups if there is space however, during busier periods, Mamma says to book ahead. If you are sitting inside, don’t forget to look up. The ceiling is filled with little delights to keep the kids entertained. The tables outside are perfect for soaking up a bit of the sunshine. Mamma and her little one especially loved the graffiti wall outside!
